Smooth brick
Polished bricks are a type of bright brick made by pressing clay and stone powder through a press, then firing at high temperature and polishing the surface of the brick body. The brick body is not glazed, and the color on the front and back is consistent. After firing, the surface is polished and polished through a polishing process. This way, the front of the brick body is smooth and bright, while the back restores its original appearance.
Polished bricks are hard, wear-resistant, bright, and clean, making the entire space look brighter. However, due to their smooth surface, they have poor slip resistance and are also prone to dirt. It can be subdivided into categories such as porous polished bricks, micro powder polished bricks, multi tube fabric polished bricks, microcrystalline stones, etc. It is commonly used in indoor spaces such as living rooms, hotel lobbies, airport waiting rooms, etc.
?;u
Vitrified brick
The production process of vitrified bricks is similar to that of polished bricks. It is a reinforced polished brick that requires a better press and can suppress higher density. At the same time, the firing temperature of the brick body is also higher. After polishing, it is bright but does not use polishing technology. Compared to polished bricks, vitrified bricks have stronger waterproofing and stain resistance, but they also have drawbacks such as non slip resistance and easy dirt.
The surface of vitrified bricks is bright and smooth, with a water absorption rate of less than 0.5%. They are wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and have good decorative effects. They are widely used in various engineering and household floors and walls.
Glazed tiles
During the firing process of glazed tiles, glaze is added to the surface, and the tile body and glaze are fired together at high temperature and pressure. Bricks are divided into two types: clay and porcelain clay. The back of bricks fired from clay is red, while the back of bricks fired from porcelain clay is gray white. Compared to pottery clay, bricks made from porcelain clay have a dense structure, lower water absorption, and are more widely used.
